• After receiving your inquiry and if we’re a solid match for the project, I’ll send you everything you need to secure your start date in my calendar. This would include a contract (or I can sign your ICA) and an invoice for a 50% down payment due before we begin.

  • If applicable, we begin with exploring some design directions. This could include finding color palettes, fonts, and UI elements that I’ll apply directly to page design concepts or as a visual brand add-on service (which includes a brand workshop + brand guide with type‑based logos, brand colors & brand fonts).

    With a visual brand ready to go, we’ll begin with designing a key page of your site (ex. homepage, product page, blog). We’ll go through 1-3 rounds of revisions to get all the details right and move on to the next step: designing each of the other pages of your site or developing your key page on Shopify/Squarespace.

  • If we are jumping right into development after the approval of the key page design, I’ll use the design direction we established to guide the rest of the website development. Otherwise, I’ll build out the pages we designed on the platform of your choice. We will go through another 1-2 rounds of revisions during this phase as well.

  • Once the entire website has been developed, we’ll take care of any finishing touches (eg. connecting your domain, newsletters, widgets and do some basic SEO set up). I’ll also provide you with some video tutorials on how to make updates to your site moving forward. I’ll send over the final invoice for the last 50% of the project total and get us ready for launch!

    Email support is given post-launch for any bugs or development related issues.

Process

Note:

Most design & development projects take a minimum of 3 weeks to complete. Of course, it depends on the platform we are building on, if we are creating brand elements, and how complex the development process is projected to be.
